West Visayas State University International (WVSU) and Local Linkages office conducted an Orientation-Meeting on Internationalization and Scholarship Opportunities in WVSU Lambunao Campus on May 24, 2024.

Led by Prof. Edel Carmela S. Subong-Csoka, Director of International and Local Linkages Office (ILLO), she discussed the ILLO mandates, accomplishments and upcoming foreign scholarship opportunities. Also, she underlined the important role of internationalization in Higher Education Institutions.

Ms. Alisa Mei Locsin, ILLO Staff, tackled the necessary paperwork and requirements needed for international travel and Mr. Nelson Tajanlangit, ILLO Staff, talked on matters on budget and itinerary preparation.

This activity aimed to orient and select students from different campuses, faculty and unit heads on internationalization and taking and making opportunities in local and foreign institutions.

The event was attended by Dr. Mary Josephine Bautista Campus Administrator of WVSU Lambunao; Dr. Isauro Sindol, IZN Coordinator of WVSU Lambunao; Unit Heads; Deans and DagYoung Student Ambassadors of Lambunao campus.
