WVSU, Villaruz signs Technical Licensing Agreement with Pototan Multi-Purpose Cooperative

On behalf of West Visayas State university (WVSU), Dr. Joselito Villaruz has signed a Technical Licensing Agreement with the Pototan Multi-Purpose Cooperative to commercialize a novel souring agent made from batuan and taro powder, a technology developed by WVSU.
 
Held on July 22, 2024 at the WVSU Board Room, Dr. Raymund Gemora, Campus Administrator, represented WVSU Pototan Campus, while Pototan Multi-Purpose Cooperative was represented by Dr. Eugene Tañedo, Chairman, and Dr. Charlie Dormindo, Manager.
 
This partnership aims to bring this innovative solution to the market and drive further research and development. The agreement is expected to benefit the public and support local economic growth, aligning with WVSU’s vision to become a research university.
