College of Medicine represents WVSU in the 2024 Taiwan-Philippines Medical University Leaders’ Forum

West Visayas State University (WVSU) is chosen as one of the Philippine Higher Education Institutions to participate in the 2024 Taiwan-Philippines Medical University Leaders’ Forum in Taiwan from May 7 to 10, 2024.

 

Dr. Victor A. Amantillo Jr., Dean of the College of Medicine (COM), and Dr. Aimee Go Chua, Head of the COM Office of Student Affairs, identified as official representatives of the University. This event is attended by distinguished medical professionals, scholars and leaders to foster innovation, exchange ideas and address pivotal challenges in the fields of medical and healthcare education.

 

This forum, hosted by the Taiwan Education Center in the Philippines in collaboration with the Taiwan Ministry of Education and National Sun Yat-sen University, also includes a visit to three medical universities such as Chang Gung University, Kaohsiung Medical University and National Taiwan University to explore and engage with their facilities and practices.
