GOAL
To provide physical rehabilitation services to persons with disability to develop, maintain and restore their maximum movement potential and functional activities.
FUNCTIONS
The Rehabilitation Medicine has the following functions:
- Provides quality and competent physical rehabilitation services to patients.
- Encourages and participates in research activities that provide basis for excellent performance of functions and contribute knowledge for improved patient care.
- Participates in the education of the public, including prevention, health promotion and wellness services.
- Promotes professional development through any continuing education program.
- Participates in the education of physical therapy students and students of other allied health professions.
