INTERNATIONALIZATION AND LOCAL LINKAGES OFFICE

 

Profile

Established as a unit in 2021, the International and Local Linkages Office (ILLO) develops consortia and cooperation, with principles of reciprocity and parity, in consonance with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, UNESCO’s Perspective on the Future of Higher Education in 2050, the economic agenda of the Office of the President of the Philippines, Commission on Higher Education (CHED), National Higher Education Research Agenda, and National Integrated Basic, DOST-CHEd Harmonized National Research and Development Agenda, National Integrated Basic Research, and the Gender Responsive Extension Agenda.

Expectation

Specifically, ILLO is expected to:

1.

Plan, implement, and coordinate international relations strategies, plans, programs, and activities in accordance to the internal procedure and international policies;

2.

Work with the Public Affairs and Marketing Communications Office (PAMCO) and the Student Ambassadors in the university on diplomatic and consular relations;

3.

Promote international linkages, memberships, academic collaboration, scholarships, student/faculty/staff mobility, and services to the international community;

4.

Coordinate with appropriate units in the university in providing assistance/information to international students/faculty/staff/partners on their stay in the university and the locality;

5.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in the execution of internationalization agenda and priorities to positively impact the three-fold functions of the University; and,

6.

Facilitate relevant documents of foreign students/faculty/ staff/ and partners in the execution of application.
