Camarines Norte State College initiates benchmarking meeting with WVSU

In a move to gain insights and learn from best practices, Camarines Norte State College (CNSC) embarked on a benchmarking visit at West Visayas State University (WVSU) on September 12-13, 2024. The primary objective of this activity was to provide CNSC with comprehensive insights into WVSU’s management practices, research, internationalization, medicine program and strategic approaches.

 

Joining the discussion were the representatives from CNSC, spearheaded by Dr. Marlo De la Cruz, President, CNSC; Dr. Arden Peejay Ezaki, Campus Director; Dr. Rosalie Almadrones, Vice President for Research and Extension; Mr. Noel Cornel Alegre, International Relations Office Head.

 

CNSC officials discussed with Dr. Victor Amantillo, Dean College of Medicine (COM); Dr. Elizabeth Magallanes, Director of Quality Assurance; Dr. Greta G. Gabinete, VP for Research, Innovation and Extension; Ms. Alisa Locsin, ILLO staff and Mr. Nelson Tajanlangit, ILLO staff. Highlights of the meeting include:  internationalization, planning and development, research, quality assurance, and possible partnerships in academic programs.

 

Knowledge and information gained during the meeting significantly contribute to the prospective plans, engagement and collaboration between the two institutions.
